رصدت السلطات الفرنسية للمرة الأولى فيروس كورونا المستجد بمزرعة لحيوانات المنك في جنوب غرب باريس.
وقالت وزارة الزراعة اليوم الأحد إن “التحاليل أظهرت أن الفيروس منتشر في مزرعة بمنطقة لوغ إي لواغ”، ليتم إثرها إعدام ألف حيوان وإتلاف المنتجات المشتقة منها.

وأضاف البيان أن التحاليل أثبتت خلو مزرعة أخرى من الفيروس، بانتظار نتائج التحليل في مزرعتين متبقيتين.

يذكر أن حكومة الدنمارك قررت إعدام كافة حيوانات المنك التي تجري تربيتها في البلاد على خلفية ظهور طفرة جديدة لفيروس كورونا.

وسبق أن نصحت الحكومة الدنماركية العاملين في مجال تربية المنك بالشروع في القضاء على تلك الحيوانات كإجراء احترازي، بعد اكتشاف سلالة جديدة من كورونا تنتقل إلى البشر، على الرغم من شكوك الخبراء في مدى خطورة هذه الطفرة الجديدة.
