تراجع عدد الأمريكيين المتقدمين بطلبات جديدة للحصول على إعانة البطالة الأسبوع الماضي إلى أدنى مستوى في سبعة أشهر.

وتباطأت وتيرة التراجع وقد يكون أي تحسن آخر محدودا نتيجة لزيادة انتشار جائحة كوفيد-19 وعدم صدور تحفيز مالي إضافي.

وقالت وزارة العمل الأمريكية اليوم الخميس إن إجمالي الطلبات الجديدة للحصول على إعانة البطالة المعدل في ضوء العوامل الموسمية بلغ 709 آلاف للأسبوع المنتهي في السابع من نوفمبر مقارنة مع 757 ألفا في الأسبوع السابق.

وكان اقتصاديون استطلعت “رويترز” آراءهم توقعوا أن يبلغ عدد الطلبات 735 ألفا في أحدث أسبوع.

ورغم تراجع الطلبات إلى أدنى مستوى منذ مارس، فإنها ما زالت أعلى من ذروة 665 ألفا المسجلة خلال الكساد الكبير بين 2007 و2009.
