الجيريان اكسبرس: قالت مشاة البحرية الأميركية، اليوم الثلاثاء، إنها تحقق في تقارير حول عملية إطلاق نار نشطة في مركز مشاة البحرية الجوية (توينتي ناين بالمز) بكاليفورنيا.

وذكرت البحرية الأميركية، في تغريدة على صفحتها الرسمية في تويتر أن الشرطة العسكرية استجابت لتقارير عن إطلاق نار الساعة السادسة والنصف صباحا تقريبا وفرضت طوقا امنيا على المنطقة.

وجاء في التغريدة “لا يمكننا تاكيد وضع مشتبه به قيد الاحتجاز في هذا الوقت”.

ولم تكشف تغريدة البحرية الأميركية أي تفاصيل، بشأن ما إذا كان الحادث خلف قتلى أو مصابين.

وتقع قاعدة “توينتي ناين بالمز” مترامية الأطراف في الصحراء على بعد 201 كيلو متر شرقي لوس أنجلوس.

وفي ديسمبر الماضي، شهدت قاعدة جوية بولاية فلوريدا إطلاق نار، خلف مقتل 4 أشخاص.

وأسفر الحادث الذي وقع في قاعدة جوية تابعة للبحرية الأميركية ببنساكولا في فلوريدا، عن إصابة آخرين
