الجيريان اكسبرس: أعلنت أغنيس كالامارد، مقررة الأمم المتحدة المعنية بحالات الإعدام خارج نطاق القضاء، الأربعاء، عن وصولها إلى إسطنبول قبيل بدء محاكمة غيابية من القضاء التركي لقتلة الإعلامي السعودي جمال خاشقجي، الجمعة.

وقالت كالامارد، التي قادت تحقيق مفوضية حقوق الإنسان حول مقتل خاشقجي، في تغريدة عبر حسابها على تويتر: “أنا في إسطنبول لدعم خديجة جنكيز وآخرين الذين سيعاودون معايشة أحداث صادمة مع بدء المحاكمة الغيابية لإعدام خاشقجي”.
من جانبها، وجهت الباحثة التركية خديجة جنكيز، التي كانت مخطوبة لخاشقجي قبل مقتله، الشكر إلى كالامارد على دعمها. وأكدت جنكيز في تصريحات لوكالة الأنباء الفرنسية أنها ستحضر محاكمة قتلة خاشقجي المقرر أن تبدأ في تركيا الجمعة 3 يوليو/ تموز.

وكان الادعاء العام التركي وجه اتهامات إلى 20 سعوديا في قضية خاشقجي، الذي قُتل في القنصلية السعودية بإسطنبول في 2 أكتوبر/ تشرين الأول عام 2018، ومن بين هؤلاء المتهمين المستشار السابق في الديوان الملكي السعودي سعود القحطاني ونائب رئيس المخابرات العامة السابق أحمد عسيري.
