الجيريان اكسبرس: قالت السلطات في مالطا إن القوات المسلحة أنقذت 95 مهاجرا كانوا على متن قارب في البحر الأبيض المتوسط.

وأكدت السلطات نقل المهاجرين إلى قاعدة عسكرية بالقرب من العاصمة فاليتا بعد اكتشاف القارب في عرض البحر إلى الشمال من سواحل ليبيا.

وكانت منظمة Alarm Phone للمتطوعين قد أبلغت صباح الأحد برصد قارب مكتظ على وشك الغرق، مشيرة إلى أنه في منطقة عمليات سلطات مالطا.

ويأتي ذلك بعد إنقاذ خفر السواحل المالطي قارب آخر، كان على متنه 63 مهاجرا يوم 17 يوليو الجاري. وبعد الفحص الطبي تبين أن جميعهم مصابون بفيروس كورونا، وتم وضعهم تحت العزل الصحي.
