ذكرت وكالة الأنباء الفلسطينية أن الرئيس محمود عباس أصدر مرسوما رئاسيا بإعلان حالة الطوارئ في الأراضي الفلسطينية لمدة 30 يوما اعتبارا من يوم الثلاثاء الموافق الخامس من مايو أيار وذلك لمواجهة استمرار تفشي فيروس كورونا.

وصدر القرار الجديد بعد انقضاء فترة إعلان حالة الطوارئ لمدة شهرين في الأراضي الفلسطينية.

كانت وزيرة الصحة مي الكيلة قد أعلنت يوم الاثنين تسجيل ثماني إصابات جديدة بالفيروس في محافظة الخليل.

وأضافت أن إجمالي عدد الحالات المصابة بفيروس كورنا بين الفلسطينيين ارتفع إلى 532 إصابة.

وسُجلت أربع حالات وفاة بين الفلسطينيين منذ بدء انتشار الوباء في مارس آذار منها حالتان في القدس.
