محمد رابح – ألجيريان إكسبرس – فجّر اللاعب السابق للمنتخب النيجيري تشينيدو أوباسي، فضيحة مدوية، بعد أن طُلب منه دفع رشوة مقابل التواجد في تشكيلة منتخب نيجريا خلال مونديال البرازيل 2014.

وأكد أوباسي في حوار عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، بأنه قبل يومين عن إعلان التشكيلة التي طارت إلى البرازيل تأهبا للمونديال، طلب منه دفع مقابل مالي مقابل المشاركة، وأضاف “في نهاية الموسم، تمت دعوتي إلى تشكيلة المنتخب لخوض مباراتين وديتين (تحضيرا للمونديال) في جنوب إفريقيا، لكن قبل يومين من إعلان التشكيلة، طلب مني دفع مبلغ من المال إذا ما أردت أن أكون مع المنتخب”.

ولم يحدد أوباسي المبلغ الذي طلب منه لدفعه مقابل التواجد في مونديال البرازيل.

وتسبب غياب المهاجم السابق لنادي شالكه الألماني عن المونديال، في عدم انتقاله إلى الدوري الانجليزي.
