الجيريان اكسبرس: أعلنت مصادر كويتية أن الشحنة الأولى من العقار الياباني “أفيغان” ستصل إلى الكويت الأسبوع المقبل، وذلك بعد نتائجه الإيجابية في عدة دول لعلاج حالات خفيفة ومتوسطة من كوفيد-19.

ونقلت وكالة “كونا”، عن عبد الله البدر وكيل وزارة الصحة قوله، إن الشحنة الأولى من عقار “أفيغان”

( Favipiravir)، تأتي ضمن العناصر المخصصة للاستجابة الطارئة والأغراض الإنسانية، مقدمة من الحكومة اليابانية.

وأضاف البدر، أن الاستخدام سيكون وفقا لدليل الإرشادات المعد من اليابان، وحسب توصيات منظمة الصحة العالمية والنظم واللوائح المتبعة في الكويت.

وأشار الى أن وزارة الصحة، في طور انتظار كمية أخرى من العقار لتوريدها لعمل الدراسات الإكلينيكية والبحوث السريرية في الكويت ومشاركة نتائجها مع المنظمات العالمية والعلمية.

وبيّن أن توفير هذا العقار يأتي على أساس التبرع من الحكومة اليابانية وبدعم لوجستي من مكتب الأمم المتحدة لخدمات المشاريع لتسهيل عمليات التسليم.
