أعلنت شركة جنرال موتورز عن نيتها توسيع سوق مبيعات سيارات Baojun 530 الجديدة التي طورتها بالتعاون مع SAIC الصينية لتكون أهم منافس لمركبات Captiva الشهيرة من شفروليه.

وتأتي سيارات Baojun 530 بهيكل بطول 4 أمتار و70 سنتيمترا، متطابق من حيث التصميم الخارجي تقريبا مع سيارات Captiva التي أطلقت العام الفائت.

أما قمرة هذه المركربات فحصلت على صفين من المقاعد الجلدية المريحة المخصصة لـ 5 ركاب، وتزينت بعناصر من الكروم والجلد والبلاستيك المدعم بألياف الكربون، كما جهزت بواجهة قيادة متطورة فيها شاشة لمسية عمودية بمقاس 10.4 بوصة يمكن من خلالها التحكم بأنظمة الصوت والمولتيميديا والعديد من خصائص السيارة.
