أعلنت Hennessey الأمريكية عن نيتها طرح نسخ معدلة من سيارات Ford F-150، ستخصص لمحبي المغامرات في المناطق الوعرة والأماكن التي تعجز السيارات العادية عن السير فيها.

وتبعا للتسريبات فإن السيارات الجديدة ستطرح تحت شعار Venom 800، وستكون هياكلها أطول وأضخم من هياكل سيارات Ford F-150 الحالية، كما ستزود بأنظمة تعليق خاصة وعجلات ضخمة تجعل الهيكل مرتفعا بشكل كبير عن الأرض لتتمكن المركبة من عبور الطرقات الوعرة والأماكن المكسوة بالثلوج أو الرمال بكل سلاسة.

وستزود هذه المركبات بممتصات صدمات أمامية وخلفية وجانبية قوية ومتينة مصنوعة من المعدن، أما الواجهة الأمامية فيها فسيختفي منها شعار فورد الشهير وسيكتب اسم Hennessey بحروف كبيرة على عرض الواجهة، كا سيحصل ممتص الصدمات الأمامي على مصابيح LED خاصة لتوفير إضاءة قوية أثناء الرحلات الليلية.

وستعمل هذه السيارات بمحرك جبار مجهز بـ 8 أسطوانات، سعته 5.0 ليتر، قادر على توليد عزم يعادل 816 حصاناـ سيعمل مع علب سرعة أوتوماتيكية بـ 10 سرعات.

ومن المفترض أن تطرح هذه السيارات مطلع العام القادم، بأسعار تتراوح ما بين 140 و150 ألف دولار.
