أعلنت وزارة الصحة الإيطالية عن تسجيل 27354 إصابة و504 وفيات بفيروس كورونا خلال الـ24 ساعة الماضية.

وذكرت الوزارة أن انخفاض الإصابات اليومية يعود لعدد الفحوصات التي أجريت يوم أمس الأحد، مبينة أنه تم إجراء 152663 فحص في اليوم الماضي مقابل 195275 فحص في اليوم السابق، حيث بلغ عدد الإصابات فيه 33979.

ويعتقد أن إيطاليا هي أول دولة غربية يصل إليها الفيروس، وشهدت 45733 حالة وفاة بكورونا منذ ظهوره في فبراير، وهي ثاني أعلى حصيلة في أوروبا بعد بريطانيا التي سجلت 1.206 مليون حالة.

يذكر أن منطقة لومباردي الشمالية هي الأكثر تضررا، حيث أبلغت السلطات هناك عن 4128 حالة إصابة جديدة اليوم، بانخفاض حاد من 8060 يوم الأحد. فيما سجلت منطقة كامبانيا الجنوبية، التي يقل عدد سكانها بكثير عن لومباردي 4079 إصابة.
