تسارع إنتاج قطاع الصناعات التحويلية في الولايات المتحدة في أكتوبر، رغم أن قفزة في الإصابات بفيروس كورونا في البلاد قد تتسبب في تعطيلات في المصانع وتعرض التعافي الاقتصادي للخطر.

وقال مجلس الاحتياطي الاتحادي (البنك المركزي الأمريكي) يوم الثلاثاء، إن إنتاج المصانع زاد 1.0 بالمئة الشهر الماضي.

وجرى تعديل البيانات لشهر سبتمبر لتظهر أن الإنتاج في المصانع ارتفع 0.1 بالمئة بدلا من انخفاض 0.3 بالمئة في التقرير السابق.

وما زال إنتاج المصانع في الولايات المتحدة دون مستواه قبل جائحة “كوفيد-19”.

وجاءت الزيادة في إنتاج المصانع في أكتوبر متوافقة مع توقعات خبراء اقتصاديين استطلعت رويترز آراءهم.
