الجيريان اكسبرس: استعان مطعم دادوان في مدينة ماستريخت جنوبي هولندا بمجموعة غير معتادة من العاملين الجديد بعد استئناف المطعم نشاطه مع تخفيف البلاد للقيود، التي فرضت لاحتواء انتشار فيروس كورونا المستجد، وهذه المجموعة الجديدة هي روبوتات.

والثلاثي الآلي أيمي وآكر وجيمس يتحركون جيئة وذهابا في المطعم الآسيوي، وهم يقدمون المشروبات بما يقلل تحركات الموظفين البشر في أنحاء المكان.

وتتخذ كل من هذه الروبوتات شكل إنسان بما في ذلك ذراعين للإمساك بصواني التقديم وتظهر على وجوهها ابتسامة أو عبوس أحيانا.

وتقول الروبوت آيمي لسيدتين تجلسان أمامها وهي تقدم كأسين من الشاي المثلج “مرحبا.. ها هو الطلب. خذه من على الصينية. سأعود تلقائيا بعد 20 ثانية”، وعلى الزبائن تسلم مشروباتهم بأنفسهم.

وعلى الرغم من أن الاستعانة بالعاملين الآليين بدأت في الصين قبل عدة أعوام وأصبحت منذ ذلك الحين صيحة جديدة في مطاعم حول العالم، فلم يدخل سوى عدد ضئيل من الروبوتات إلى مطاعم هولندية.
