الجيريان اكسبرس: أفادت تقارير صحية رسمية في الهند، اليوم الأحد، أن عدد الإصابات بفيروس كورونا الجديد ارتفع إلى أكثر من 7 ملايين إصابة.

وأشارت التقارير إلى أن الهند تقترب بسرعة من الأرقام التي سجلتها الولايات المتحدة الدولة الأكثر تضررا من فيروس كورونا في العالم.

ووفقا للأرقام التي نشرتها وزارة الصحة الهندية الأحد، فقد تم تسجيل نحو 75 ألف إصابة جديدة بكورونا، المسبب لوباء كوفيد-19، الأمر الذي يرفع عدد المصابين في البلاد إلى 7,05 ملايين شخص، وفقا لما ذكرته فرانس برس.
ولا تبعد الهند، التي تحتل المركز الثاني من حيث الإصابات في العالم، كثيرا عن الولايات المتحدة التي بلغ عدد الإصابات فيها 7,67 ملايين.

وتأتي البرازيل بعدهما بعدد إصابات وصل إلى 5.05 مليون إصابة، مع العلم أن البرازيل تحتل المركز الثاني من حيث عدد الوفيات بعد الولايات المتحدة.

وسجلت الولايات المتحدة 214,367 حالة وفاة بكوفيد-19، مقابل 149,639 وفاة في البرازيل و107,416 وفاة في الهند.
