ألجيريان إكسبرس: رحبت الممثلة الخاصة للأمين العام للأمم المتحدة في العراق، جينين بلاسخارت، الخميس، بمنح مجلس النواب العراقي الثقة لحكومة مصطفى الكاظمي.

وحثت بلاسخارات على استكمال تشكيل الكابينة الوزارية ليتسنى للحكومة الجديدة التحرك سريعا لمعالجة التحديات الأمنية والاجتماعية والسياسية والاقتصادية والصحية المتزايدة.

وقالت: “تواجه الحكومة معركة شاقة وليس هناك وقت يدخر، وتمثل مواجهة الأزمة الاقتصادية التي تفاقمت في ظل جائحة كوفيد-19 وتراجع أسعار النفط أولويةً قصوى”.

وأضافت “لكن يجب التصدي للتحديات الأخرى التي طال أمدها دون تأخير، وهي تشمل تقديم الخدمات العامة الكافية ومحاربة الفساد وتعزيز الحكم الرشيد، فضلاً عن العدالة والمساءلة”.

وجددت دعم الأمم المتحدة للحكومة العراقية في التصدي لهذه التحديات.

وتابعت “على الحكومة العراقية الجديدة المضي قدماً لإحداث تغيير ملموس، فالتحديات كثيرة، وكذلك هي الفرص”.

وأشارت بلاسخارت “إلى أن الأمم المتحدة مستعدة للمساعدة في تحديد الفرص والتصدي للتحديات، والعمل بالشراكة مع العراقيين لبناء مستقبل مزدهر ومستقر لبلدهم”.
