وصف عضو لجنة مكافحة كورونا ومدير معهد باستور في تونس الهاشمي الوزير اليوم الإثنين الوضع الوبائي في البلاد بـ”الدقيق جداً” في ظل الضغط الكبير على أقسام الانعاش في المستشفيات.
وقال الهاشمي إن أعضاء اللجنة العلمية سيجتمعون في وقت لاحق لتقييم الوضع والتقدم بمقترحات إلى الحكومة لكسر حلقات العدوى، وسرعة تفشي الفيروس.
وزاد تفشي الفيروس في الموجة الثانية التي تجتاح تونس، إلى مستويات مقلقة مع تخطي معدل الحصيلة اليومية في الأسبوع الماضي حاجز 2500 إصابة يومية.
وبلغ عدد الوفيات 5215 منذ فبراير (شباط) الماضي.
وقال الهاشمي إن الحكومة وقعت اتفاقاً للحصول على مليوني جرعة من لقاح فايزر الأمريكي في الربع الثاني من العام الجاري، ولكن هناك أيضاً مساع للحصول على لقاح آخر يرجح أن يكون في فبراير (شباط) الماضي.
وقال رئيس قسم الاستعجالي بمستشفى فرحات حشاد بسوسة زياد مزقار اليوم، إن “الوضع خطير جداً جداً وكارثي وخرج عن السيطرة، والطواقم الطبية منهكة ومنهارة”.
