أعلنت السلطات البلجيكية عن ضبط نحو 65.5 طن من الكوكايين خلال العام الماضي تقدر قيمتها بـ7.5 مليار يورو.

وقالت وزارة المالية البلجيكية: “هذه الكميات جرى ضبطها في مدينة أنتويرب في عام 2020 الماضي”.

وبحسب “أ.ف.ب”، تم تقدير قيمة هذه المخدرات بـ7.5 مليارات يورو، وذلك على أساس متوسط سعره في الاتحاد الأوروبي بـ68.5 يورو للغرام الواحد.

وأشارت إلى أنه “بهذا المستوى القياسي من المخدرات، يحافظ ميناء المدينة الساحلية على موقعه كأبرز مدخل لهذه المخدرات إلى أوروبا”.

وأوضحت أنه بعدما بلغت كمية المضبوطات 4.7 طن في 2013، ازدادت كمية المخدرات المهربة من أمريكا اللاتينية نحو 14 مرة في 2020.

وأشارت إلى أنه في عام 2019، بلغت كميات الكوكايين المضبوطة في المدينة 62.1 طن، لافتة إلى أنه في أغلب الأحوال يتم تهريب هذه الشحنات بصورة مموهة داخل حاويات منقولة عبر البحر.

وأوضحت الوزارة أن كولومبيا والبرازيل والإكوادور تأتي في المراتب الثلاث الأولى للبلدان المصدرة للكوكايين، بينما تعد إسبانيا وهولندا معبرين رئيسيين آخرين له بعد بلجيكا إلى أوروبا.
