الجيريان اكسبرس: أعلنت البحرية الأمريكية عن تسجيل 3 إصابات بفيروس كورونا بين أفراد طاقم حاملة الطائرات USS Roosevelt، التي شكلت العام الماضي بؤرة للفيروس في صفوف البحارة.

وقالت البحرية إن البحارة الثلاثة ثبتت إصابتهم يوم الأحد ولم تظهر عليهم أي أعراض، مشيرة إلى أنهم والذين خالطوهم يخضعون حاليا للحجر الصحي على متن السفينة.

وأكدت أن “السفينة تتبع إجراءات صارمة وفقا لإرشادات البحرية ومراكز السيطرة على الأمراض والوقاية منها، لتشمل إلزامية ارتداء الكمامات والحفاظ على التباعد الاجتماعي والحفاظ على النظافة”.

وكان المفتش العام في وزارة الدفاع الأمريكية، انتقد في تقرير صدر في بداية الشهر الحالي، قيادة حاملة الطائرات USS Roosevelt، لاتخاذها قرارات أدت إلى تفاقم تفشي فيروس كورونا بين طاقم السفينة.

وأبلغت الحاملة عن أول إصابة بالفيروس في 24 مارس 2020 بعد مغادرتها ميناء “دا نانغ” في فيتنام.

وانتشر الوباء بين طاقم السفينة التي سجل على متنها 1271 إصابة أي أكثر من ربع الطاقم وأسفر عن وفاة شخص واحد.
