أعلنت وزارة الصحة الإيطالية، اليوم الخميس، عن تسجيلها 8804 إصابات جديدة بفيروس كورونا ما يمثل ارتفاعا قياسيا لعدد الحالات على أساس يومي في البلاد.

وأفادت وزارة الصحة الإيطالية، في إحصائية جديدة، بارتفاع حصيلة الإصابات المسجلة بعدوى فيروس كورونا المستجد في البلاد خلال الساعات الـ24 الماضية بواقع 8804 حالة، مقابل 7332 في بيانات أمس الأربعاء، لتصل إلى مستوى 381602.

ويعتبر هذا الارتفاع اليومي الأكبر منذ بدء التفشي في البلاد، لكن بيانات اليوم أشارت إلى أن هذه الحصيلة للإصابات المسجلة ناجمة كذلك عن إجراء عدد قياسي للفحوص لرصد المرض والذي تجاوز 126 ألفا.

كما رصدت وزارة الصحة 83 وفاة جديدة جراء الفيروس خلال اليوم الماضي، مقارنة مع 43 في إحصائية الأربعاء، ليصل عدد ضحايا الجائحة في إيطاليا إلى 36372 متوفيا، ما يمثل ثاني أكبر حصيلة في أوروبا بعد بريطانيا.

وعلى الرغم من ارتفاع عدد الحالات في إيطاليا خلال الأسابيع الأخيرة، إلا أن مؤشرات فيروس كورونا هناك أقل بشكل ملموس من نظيراتها في دول أوروبية كبيرة أخرى مثل فرنسا وبريطانيا وإسبانيا.
