قال وزير الصحة الإسباني، سالفادور إيا، إن أمام الإسبان ما بين 5 إلى 6 أشهر معقدة يتعين عليهم خلالها التعايش مع وباء كورونا، في انتظار التوصل إلى لقاح بحلول العام المقبل.

في غضون ذلك، أضاف الوزير، أن الإسبان سيحتفلون بأعياد الميلاد هذا العام في “ظروف غير طبيعية” تفرضها ضرروة التباعد الاجتماعي والتدابير الوقائية لمكافحة انتشار الوباء.

وأوضح سالفادور إيا، في حوار له مع إذاعة “RAC 1” متوجها إلى مواطنيه، بالقول إن اللقاح المضاد لكوفيد 19 المرتقب سيحكم وتيرة حياتهم على الأقل إلى غاية العام المقبل، وأن الموجة الثانية للوباء التي تعصف حاليا بكل الدول الأوروبية تُلقِي بالغموض مرة أخرى على الأشهر المقبلة.

إزاء الانقسام في إسبانيا بين الراغبين في الخضوع للتلقيح عند توفره، الذين تبلغ نسبتهم 42 بالمائة، والرافضين له، ونسبتهم نحو 44 بالمائة، قال الوزير إنه سيواجه الرافضين بمعركة نشر الوعي في أوساط المواطنين بأهمية الخضوع للتلقيح، لأن الأمر شديد الجدية ويتعلق بحياتهم.
