كشف المتحدث باسم جامعة القاهرة، محمود علم الدين، عن تفاصيل توصل جامعة القاهرة لبروتكول علاجي لفيروس كورونا المستجد.

وأوضح المتحدث أن الجامعة أعدت عدة بحوث للوصول لعلاج لفيروس كورونا منذ ظهور الجائحة، حيث نشرت الجامعة 18 بحثا، وهناك 8 تجارب سريرية مسجلة.

وأشار علم الدين، خلال برنامج “مساء dmc” المذاع عبر فضائية “إكسترا نيوز”، مساء الجمعة، إلى أن البروتكول العلاجي مكون من دواءين متوفرين في السوق، وتكلفتهما بسيطة، موضحا أن البروتكول عبارة عن دواء مضاد للفيروسات، وآخر لرفع أداء الجهاز المناعي.

وأوضح علم الدين أنه بعد اعتماد وزارة الصحة المصرية للبروتكول ستبدأ التجارب السريرية، لافتا إلى أن هناك تبادلا للمعلومات مع دول العالم المختلفة بشأن محاولة التوصل للقاح للفيروس.
