انخفض الذهب، الجمعة، مع ارتفاع الدولار، لكن المعدن الأصفر بصدد تسجيل أفضل أداء أسبوعي منذ أواخر يوليو، بفضل آمال بمزيد من دعم البنك المركزي، إذ يراهن المستثمرون على انقسام في الكونغرس الأميركي في ظل رئاسة جو بايدن.

ونزل الذهب في المعاملات الفورية 0.5 بالمئة إلى 1939.10 دولار للأوقية (الأونصة) بحلول الساعة 06:18 بتوقيت غرينتش.

وزادت الأسعار 2.4 بالمئة، الخميس، بفضل تراجع الدولار، مما يجعلها بصدد تحقيق مكسب أسبوعي 3.2 بالمئة.

وتراجعت العقود الأميركية الآجلة للذهب 0.3 بالمئة إلى 1940.20دولار للأوقية، وزاد الدولار 0.2 بالمئة، مما يقلص جاذبية الذهب لحائزي بقية العملات.

وقال كايل رودا المحلل لدى آي.جي ماركتس إنه على مدى الأسبوع الماضي، تحولت دينامية سوق الذهب من تحوط للتحفيز إلى مجرد مستفيدمن الدولار “وذلك التداول انحسر قليلا”.

وأضاف “فور أن نرى غبار الانتخابات يهدأ سيعود مجددا إلى التحرك بدفع من السياسة المالية”، حيث يقترب المرشح الديمقراطي جو بايدن من الفوز غير أن عمليات فرز الأصوات لا تزال جارية في ولايات مهمة.
