قال البنك الدولي، الجمعة، إنه وافق على قرض بقيمة 400 مليون دولار لدعم إصلاحات تقوم بها المغرب لتعزيز شبكة الأمان للأسر الأشد فقرا عقب جائحة فيروس كورونا.

وأوضح البنك الدولي في بيان أن التمويل سيدعم برامج المساعدة الاجتماعية، لا سيما التحويلات النقدية الطارئة التي أسسها المغرب عبر صندوق خاص لكوفيد-19.

وكانت مندوبية التخطيط قد قالت إنه من المتوقع أن ترتفع البطالة إلى 14.8 بالمئة في 2020 من نحو 9.2 بالمئة قبل الجائحة.

ويمثل أكثر من ثلث الموظفين المغاربة الذين يعملون بالفعل في شركات غير مسجلة بدون حماية اجتماعية، ويمارسون أعمالا يدوية أو يقومون بالبيع في الشوارع، 14 بالمئة من الناتج المحلي الإجمالي.
وأعلن المغرب عن خطة لإصلاح الضمان الاجتماعي في خمس سنوات لضمان تأمين صحي ومعاشات تقاعد وتعويضات بطالة للجميع.

ويقول صندوق النقد الدولي إنه من المتوقع انكماش اقتصاد المغرب بما يصل إلى سبعة بالمئة في العام الجاري.

وذكر البنك المركزي أن الدين الحكومي بصدد الارتفاع إلى 76.1 بالمئة من الناتج المحلي الإجمالي في 2020 من 65 بالمئة في 2019.
