الجيريان اكسبرس: أكدت الشرطة الكندية ان منفذ عملية الطعن في كيبيك غير مرتبط بتنظيم إرهابي.

و قد أعلنت شرطة كيبيك أنها أوقفت ليل السبت الأحد رجلا يشتبه بأنه تسبب في مقتل شخصين وإصابة 5 أخرين بجروح بسلاح أبيض في المدينة الكندية.

وقالت الشرطة الكندية في تغريدة على تويتر “قبيل الساعة الواحدة أوقفت إدارة شرطة مدينة كيبيك مشتبها به”، داعية سكان المدينة إلى “البقاء في الداخل وإقفال الأبواب” لأن “تحقيقا ما زال جاريا”.

وذكرت الشرطة في مدينة كيبيك أنها ألقت القبض في ساعة مبكرة من صباح الأحد على رجل يرتدي ثيابا من العصور الوسطى ومسلحا بسلاح حاد خلف “العديد من الضحايا”.

وأشارت إلى أن الهجمات وقعت بالقرب من المجلس التشريعي الإقليمي في عيد الهلع أو الهالوين، لافتة إلى أنه تم نقل 5 ضحايا إلى المستشفى، لكن لم ترد أنباء فورية عن أوضاعهم.

وطلبت الشرطة من الموجودين في المنطقة البقاء في منازلهم، فيما لا توجد معلومات حول الدافع المحتمل للهجمات.
