الجيريان اكسبرس: أعلنت لجنة المناظرات الرئاسية الأمريكية (CPD)، أن المناظرة الرئاسية الثانية بين المرشح الديمقراطي جو بايدن والرئيس دونالد ترامب، المقررة يوم الخميس 15 أكتوبر ستجرى افتراضيا.

وأعلن ترامب، في حديث لقناة “FOX Business” أنه لم يتم إبلاغه مسبقا بالتغيير، مشددا على أنه لن يضيع وقته ولن يشارك بشكل افتراضي.

ولفت الى أنه لم يرغب في إلغاء الحدث الأخير مع عائلات العسكريين، “لكن لا يمكن أن أقول لهم إبقوا بعيدا”.

ومنذ أن ثبتت إصابة ترامب بفيروس كورونا، كانت هناك أسئلة حول سلامة المشاركين بالمناظرات الرئاسية إذا كان لا يزال مصابا، وقد بقي الوضع الطبي لترامب غامضا حيث لم يتم الإبلاغ عن التاريخ المحدد لنتائج الاختبار السلبية الأخيرة له.
