أظهرت صور تم تداولها على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، عشرات من أسماك القرش الميتة، وهي ملقاة على أحد الشواطئ في كوينزلاند بأستراليا.

وبدت أسماك القرش في الصور وهي ملقاة على رمال جزيرة ساوث سترادبروك بالقرب من غولد كوست.

وتسعى جمعية الصيادين في تلك المنطقة لمعرفة سبب نفوق هذا العدد الكبير من أسماك القرش، حسبما ذكرت صحيفة “ديلي ميل” البريطانية.
وتحقق السلطات من خلال دورياتها البحرية لمعرفة زمان وقوع هذه الحادثة، وتدرس احتمال أن تكون هذه الأسماك ضحية عملية صيد جائر.

وفي حادثة مشابهة وقعت قبل أيام، عثر على سمكة قرش بيضاء كبيرة ملطخة بالدماء قرب وايالا جنوب أستراليا.

وتعتبر أسماك القرش الأبيض في أستراليا من الحيوانات المحمية بموجب القانون، ويواجه أي شخص يستهدفها غرامات مالية تصل قيمتها إلى 10 آلاف دولار أميركي.
