لقي 4 مغاربة حتفهم إثر محاولتهم عبور قناة صرف صحي من ميناء بني أنصار نحو جيب مليلية الإسباني المجاور في شمال المغرب، وفق ما أفاد مصدر في السلطات المحلية الخميس.

ونقلت وكالة “فرانس برس” عن المصدر قوله إن مصالح الوقاية المدنية تدخلت فور إشعارها بالحادث يوم الأربعاء لتعثر على جثث 3 ضحايا داخل القناة، بينما نقل شخص رابع إلى المستشفى حيث لفظ أنفاسه الأخيرة.

وأوضح أن هذه ليست أول محاولة للهجرة غير النظامية إلى مليلية عبر هذه القناة.

ويمثل جيبا مليلية وسبتة الإسبانيان الحدود البرية الوحيدة بين إفريقيا وأوروبا، ويخضعان لحراسة مشددة لمنع تسلل المهاجرين غير النظاميين إليهما عبر تسلق السياج الشائك العملاق الذي يحيط بهما.

وتراجع عدد المهاجرين غير النظاميين الذين وصلوا السواحل الإسبانية إلى النصف خلال الأشهر الثمانية الأولى للعام 2020، بالمقارنة مع العام الماضي.

وبات الجزائريون يمثلون ثلثي الواصلين ويليهم المغاربة والمهاجرون من بلدان إفريقيا جنوب الصحراء، بحسب وكالة “فرنتكس” الحدودية الأوروبية.
