أعلنت السلطات الصحية في بريطانيا يوم الثلاثاء، تسجل 22885 إصابة جديدة بـ”كوفيد – 19″، ما يشكل ارتفاعا في الإصابات بالفيروس مقارنة مع 20890 حالة سجلت الاثنين.

وأشارت إلى تسجيل 367 حالة وفاة خلال شهر أكتوبر الجاري.

وارتفعت الحالات الجديدة من أدنى مستوى لها في أسبوع، مع ارتفاع عدد الوفيات في غضون 28 يوما من الاختبار الإيجابي.

وتشهد بريطانيا خلال الأسابيع الأخيرة ارتفاعا في الإصابات بـ”كوفيد-19″، ما دفع رئيس الوزراء بوريس جونسون إلى إعلان نظام جديد ثلاثي المستويات للحجر الصحي المحلي حيث شملت القيود الأكثر صرامة قرابة 7.5 مليون شخص على خلفية قفزة الإصابات بكورونا.

وسجلت بريطانيا إجمالي إصابات بكورونا بلغ 873800 حالة، بالإضافة إلى إجمالي وفيات بلغ 44896 حالة وفاة.
