سجلت جامعة جونز هوبكنز الأمريكية تراجعا طفيفا في حصيلة الإصابات اليومية بفيروس كورونا في الولايات المتحدة، برصد أكثر من 166 إصابة جديدة بالوباء خلال يوم أمس السبت.
وأكدت الجامعة التي تعتمد في إحصاءاتها على بيانات الهيئات الرسمية والمصادر المفتوحة أن حصيلة الإصابات المؤكدة بالفيروس الذي يسبب مرض “كوفيد-19″ في الولايات المتحدة ارتفعت خلال يوم أمس بواقع 166555 حالة جديدة، بعد قفزة غير مسبوقة بـ184514 حالة في يوم الجمعة.

وأفادت الجامعة برصد 1266 حالة وفاة جديدة ناجمة عن الوباء في البلاد خلال يوم أمس، مقارنة مع 1431 وفاة في اليوم السابق.

وأصبح إجمالي عدد الإصابات بـ”كوفيد-19” التي سجلت في الولايات المتحدة حتى الآن، حسب آخر بيانات الجامعة، 10 ملايين و906725 حالة إصابة، منها 245615 حالة وفاة، ما يمثل أكبر حصيلة على مستوى العالم.
