استدعت إثيوبيا اليوم السبت السفير الأمريكي مايك راينور، للاحتجاج على ما وصفته بأنه “تحريض على الحرب” مع مصر أطلقه الرئيس دونالد ترامب في خضم النزاع القائم حول ملء وتشغيل سد النهضة.

وقالت وزارة الخارجية: “التحريض على الحرب بين إثيوبيا ومصر من قبل رئيس أمريكي حالي لا يعبر عن الشراكة طويلة الأمد ولا التحالف الاستراتيجي بين إثيوبيا والولايات المتحدة وهو غير مقبول في القانون الدولي الذي يحكم العلاقات بين الدول”.

وقال مكتب رئيس الوزراء الإثيوبي اليوم السبت: “لا تزال تتواتر بيانات بين الحين والآخر تحمل تهديدات عدائية لإخضاع إثيوبيا لشروط جائرة”.

ودعا ترامب أمس الجمعة إلى التوصل إلى اتفاق بين البلدين لكنه ذكر أن الوضع خطير وقد يصل إلى أن “تنسف” مصر السد.

وأدلى ترامب بتصريحاته خلال اتصال هاتفي مع رئيس الوزراء السوداني عبد الله حمدوك في أعقاب إعلان السودان وإسرائيل عن تطبيع العلاقات بينهما.
