قالت شركة هيبنوسيز سونجز فاند، الأربعاء، إن المغني نيل يونج باع نصف حقوق أغانيه (1180 أغنية) لشركة متخصصة مدرجة في بورصة لندن.

وحقق يونج، البالغ من العمر 75 عاما، الشهرة بأغانٍ مثل “قلب من ذهب” (هارت أوف جولد) و”رصيف الشيطان” (ديفيلز سايدووك) وأصدر أكثر من 50 ألبوما مسجلا داخل استديوهات و20 ألبوما حيا.

وقال ميرك مركيورياديس مؤسس شركة هيبنوسيز: “اشتريت أول ألبوم لنيل يونج وأنا في السابعة من العمر.. وشراء الحقوق يعد الأحدث في سلسلة صفقات مشابهة أبرمتها الشركة، سيغير شركته إلى الأبد”.

تأتي الصفقة بعدما باع المغني الأمريكي بوب ديلان الشهر الماضي القائمة الكاملة لأغانيه ليونيفرسال ميوزيك جروب.

ويسمح ازدهار خدمات البث الموسيقي لمغنين مثل ديلان ويونج بالوصول إلى جمهور واسع من الجيل الأصغر سنا.

ولم يُكشف عن التفاصيل المالية لصفقة يونج. وقال مركيورياديس، وهو مدير موسيقي سابق، “سنعمل معا لنتأكد من أن بمقدور الجميع الاستماع إلى (الأغاني) بشروط نيل”.
