الجيريان اكسبرس: تسببت الأزمة الصحية العالمية في انهيار سوق السيارات الفرنسية بنسبة 25.5 في المئة في العام 2020، متراجعة إلى المستوى الذي سجلته عام 1975 وفقا للأرقام الرسمية.

وقالت لجنة مصنعي السيارات الفرنسيين إنه تم طرح حوالى 1.65 مليون سيارة جديدة في السوق العام الماضي، مقابل 2.2 مليون عام 2019.

وصرح مدير الاتصالات في اللجنة فرانسوا رودييه لوكالة فرانس برس بأنه حتى “خلال أزمتي التسعينات والعقد الأول من القرن الحالي، لم نتراجع عن 1.7 مليون” سيارة.

وكان القطاع ضحية توقف الامتيازات والمصانع خلال الإغلاق الأول في الربيع الذي فرض لمكافحة انتشار وباء كوفيد-19، إضافة إلى حالة عدم اليقين التي جعلت المستهلكين في موقف ترقب في خضم أزمة اقتصادية خطيرة.

وحافظت الشركات المصنعة الفرنسية “بي إس آ” (بيجو وسيتروين، وأوبل ورينو) على أداء أفضل نسبيا، لكنها خفضت عمليات التسليم بنسبة 25.1 و24.9 في المئة مقارنة بالعام 2019، في حين أن الشركات الأجنبية شهدت تراجعا في عملياتها بنسبة 26.1 في المئة.
