أعلن الاتحاد المصري لكرة القدم اليوم الثلاثاء انسحاب منتخب “الفراعنة” للشباب من التصفيات المؤهلة لكأس الأمم الإفريقية تحت 20 عاما بسبب الإصابات الكثيرة بفيروس كورونا داخل البعثة.

وجاء في بيان رسمي نشره الاتحاد المصري لكرة القدم أن وزير الرياضة المصري أشرف صبحي قرر إرسال طائرة خاصة لنقل بعثة المنتخب المصري للشباب من تونس وإعادتهم إلى بلادهم غدا الأربعاء، بعد أن رفض الاتحاد الإفريقي لكرة القدم “الكاف” تأجيل مباراة ليبيا اليوم.

واعتبر المنتخب المصري خاسرا بهدفين نظيفين إداريا، لعدم توفر 15 لاعبا في قائمته للمباراة.

وضربت إصابات فيروس كورونا لاعبي المنتخب المصري للشباب، قبل أن تتحول أمس الاثنين نتيجة مسحة 3 لاعبين إلى سلبية ليزيد عدد المتاحين للعب إلى 14 لاعبا فقط من بينهم حارسي المرمى.
