لا يتوقّف “شبح” الطرقات الجزائرية، عن خطف المزيد من الضحايا فقد لقي 48 شخصا حتفهم و أصيب 1121 آخرون بجروح في 991 حادث مرور وقع ما بين 27 ديسمبر الفارط و 2 يناير على المستوى الوطني, حسب ما كشفت عنه المديرية العامة للحماية المدنية, يوم الثلاثاء, في حصيلتها الأسبوعية.

وسجلت أثقل حصيلة بولاية تمنراست بوفاة 22 شخصا و جرح 18 آخرين في ثمانية حوادث مرور.

و عموما, أحصت وحدات الحماية المدنية خلال الفترة المذكورة آنفا 19432 تدخلا إثر تلقي مكالمات الاستغـاثة من طرف المواطنين, شملت مختلف مجالات الأنشطة المتعلقة بحوادث المرور والحوادث المنزلية والإجلاء الصحي و إخمــاد الحرائق و تغطية الأجهزة الأمنية لمختلف التظاهرات.

ففيما يتصل بإخماد الحرائق, على سبيل المثال, قامت هذه الوحدات بـ 871 تدخلا سمح بإطفاء 521 حريق من شتى الأصناف.
