الجيريان اكسبرس: أعلنت فرنسا اليوم السبت أنها تتوقع ارتفاعا أكثر حدة في الإصابات بفيروس كورونا الجديد خلال الأسبوعين المقبلين، لكنها تستبعد العودة إلى إجراءات العزل العام.

فقد قال وزير الصحة الفرنسي، أوليفييه فيران، إن على فرنسا مواصلة توخي اليقظة والحذر مع دخول أعداد أكبر من المصابين بفيرةس كورونا، المسبب لوباء كوفيد-19، إلى وحدات العناية المركزة في المستشفيات خلال الأسبوعين المقبلين.

ويعكس تصريح الوزير الفرنسي ارتفاعا في الإصابات بالمرض مؤخرا، بحسب ما ذكرت رويترز.

غير أن وزير الصحة الفرنسي استبعد أن تكون هناك حاجة لفرض إجراءات جديدة للعزل العام في أنحاء البلاد، وقال لتلفزيون “بي.أف.أم” إن لبلاده عدة طرق أخرى لمحاربة الفيروس بما في ذلك إجراء الفحوص.

وأوضح فيران قائلا: “لا يمكن أن أتصور فرض إجراءات جديدة للعزل العام”.

وقال فيران “لا يواجه جميعنا المستوى نفسه من موجة التفشي كما حدث في الربيع الماضي. نشهد الآن ارتفاعا في الإصابات بمعدلات أبطأ، لكنه معدل يستوجب توخي اليقظة والحذر”.
