الجيريان اكسبرس: أعلنت بريطانيا أنها ستطلق مرحلة جديدة من حملة التلقيح ضد كورونا لمن أعمارهم بين 65 و69 عاما، مع اقترابها من تحقيق هدفها بتطعيم 15 مليون شخص.

واعتبارا من الاثنين، سيبدأ تطعيم الأشخاص الذين تراوح أعمارهم بين 65 و69 عاما و”الشريحة الأضعف طبيا”، وفق ما أعلنت خدمة الصحة العامة “أن أتش أس” الأحد.

وقال وزير الصحة مات هانكوك إن “برنامج التلقيح يتواصل بسرعة غير مسبوقة، وفي وقت نحن على وشك إعطاء اللقاح لكل الأشخاص الذين ينتمون إلى الفئات الأربع الأولى ذات الأولوية بحلول الاثنين، نحن مصممون على دعم هذا الزخم من خلال زيادته أكثر”.

وحسب الأعداد الأخيرة التي نشرت السبت، حصل 14.556.827 شخصا على الجرعة الأولى و534869 على الجرعة الثانية من اللقاح، مع احتساب عدد الأشخاص الملقحين حتى يوم الجمعة ضمنا.
