ألجيريان إكسبرس – أكد رئيس هيئة أركان الجيش اليوناني قسطنطينوس فلوروس استعداد بلاده للرد على أي خطوات من قبل تركيا، مهددا بـ”حرق من يضع قدمه” على الأراضي اليونانية.

ونقلت قناة Open التلفزيونية اليونانية عن رئيس الأركان قوله اليوم السبت: “سنحرق من يضع قدمه على الأرض اليونانية قبل أن نتأكد من هو”.

ولم يستبعد فلوروس وقوع نزاع عسكري مع تركيا في حال أقدمت أنقرة على تخطي “الخطوط الحمراء”.

وقال إن “النزاع العسكري محتمل، وليس بوسع أحد أن يستبعد هذا الاحتمال. وفي حال حدث أي شيء من هذا القبيل، فهذا لن يقتصر على نقطة واحدة، بل ستتسع رقعته فورا”.

وأضاف أن “من سيهاجم القوات المسلحة اليونانية سيدفع ثمنا باهظا، والجيران يعرفون ذلك”، مؤكدا أن أثينا تعرف ماذا ستفعل في حال تعرض اليونان لأي اعتداء.

يذكر أن العلاقات بين تركيا واليونان تشهد توترا شديدا في أعقاب اتفاق أنقرة على ترسيم الحدود البحرية مع حكومة الوفاق الوطني بطرابلس، وإرسالها سفنا للتنقيب عن النفط والغاز في المناطق التي تعتبرها اليونان جزءا من منطقتها الاقتصادية الخالصة.
