ألجيريان إكسبرس – تقدم نجم كرة القدم في ساحل العاج ديدييه دروغبا البالغ 42 عاما اليوم السبت رسميا بترشحه لانتخابات رئاسة اتحاد كرة القدم في بلاده، وسط حضور جماهيري غفير.

وكان القائد السابق لمنتخب “الفيلة” قد تلقى صفعة في منتصف يوليو الماضي عندما رفضت رابطة اللاعبين في بلاده تأييده، لكنه حظي في النهاية على ثماني رعايات ودعم من إحدى المجموعات الخمس المطلوبة للترشح للانتخابات.

وقال دروغبا: “لا يهمني كثيرا أن أكون رئيسا للاتحاد الكروي، بل يهمني ما يرتبط بهذه الوظيفة. كرتنا تعاني… نلتزم بالمساهمة في نهضة كرة القدم في بلادنا”.

وتابع: “عدت وأنا عازم على المساهمة في تجديد وتطوير كرة القدم في ساحل العاج”، معتبرا أنه “من الهام أن أعيد لكرة القدم ما قدمته لي”.

وبعد تقديم الطلبات، أمام اللجنة الانتخابية خمسة أيام لتحليل ملفات الترشيح والمصادقة عليها.
