ألجيريان إكسبرس – أعلن سوسيتي جنرال يوم الاثنين تكبده خسائر في الربع الثاني من العام بلغت 1.26 مليار يورو (1.48 مليار دولار) مع خفضه قيمة أنشطة التداول التي يسعى إلى إعادة تنظيمها.
وقال ثالث أكبر بنك في فرنسا من حيث القيمة السوقية إنه سيقلل من حجم المخاطر لوحدة التداول في تحول سيكلف ما بين 200 و250 مليون يورو من الإيرادات المفقودة.
كان البنك فاجأ المستثمرين بخسارة في الربع الأول بعد أن محا تفشي فيروس كورونا إيرادات قسم تداول الأسهم.
وتراجعت إيرادات الربع الثاني 80 بالمئة في تداولات الأسهم وارتفعت 38 بالمئة في تداولات أدوات الدخل الثابت.
وشهد البنك انخفاضا بنسبة 15.7 بالمئة في إيرادات الربع الثاني إلى 5.3 مليار يورو، مقابل 5.44 مليار يورو في متوسط تقديرات خمسة محللين استطلعت رويترز آراءهم.
وضاعف البنك مخصصات القروض التي قد تصبح رديئة بسبب جائحة كوفيد-19 إلى أربعة أمثاله.
