الجيريان اكسبرس: أعطت هيئة الأغذية والدواء الأمريكية الضوء الأخضر لتوسيع رقعة استخدام عقار “ريمديسيفير” كعلاج طارئ لكل المرضى بكوفيد-19 من مختلف شرائح الأعمار ومستويات شدة الإصابات.

وكانت الهيئة سمحت باستخدام هذا الدواء ابتداء من شهر مايو الماضي في علاج الإصابات الخطيرة فقط بعد أن تأكدت قدرة العقار على تسريع التعافي من الداء.

الهيئة الأمريكية أوضحت أن التجربة بينت أن “ريمديسيفير” عقار فعال في علاج الإصابات بـ: كوفيد-19 وأن منافعه بدت، خلال الاختبارات والتجارب السريرة، أكبر من مخاطره الممكنة على المرضى.

كما أكدت الهيئة أنها تواصل بذل قصارى جهودها، بالتعاون مع مؤسسات ابتكار وإنتاج الأدوية، سعيا للتوصل إلى علاجات جديدة وفعالة من خلال تكثيف الدراسات والاختبارات السريرية.
