كشفت شركة “هواوي”، التي تكافح تحت وطأة عقوبات أميركية، النقاب اليوم الإثنين عن هاتف ذكي جديد قابل للطي مزود بشاشة عرضها 8 بوصات (20 سم) لإظهار براعتها التقنية، لكنها قالت إنه سيباع في الصين فقط.

يسلط الهاتف الجديد الذي أطلق عليه “ميت إكس 2” الضوء على التحديات التي تواجه “هواوي” بعد أن قطعت واشنطن عنها الوصول إلى رقائق المعالج الأمريكية وخدمات “غوغل”.

العام الماضي، تراجعت هواوي من العلامة التجارية العالمية للهواتف الذكية الأكثر مبيعًا إلى المركز السادس.

قالت الشركة إن الهاتف الجديد، ثالث هواتفها القابلة للطي، يتمتع بصور أكثر وضوحًا وصوتًا أفضل للأفلام والألعاب. ويعمل الهاتف على شريحة المعالج الأكثر تقدمًا من هواوي، وهي “كيرين 9000”.

تعرضت “هواوي”، أول علامة تجارية عالمية للتكنولوجيا في الصين، لصفعة من خلال إدراجها في قائمة سوداء للتصدير من قبل الرئيس الأميركي السابق دونالد ترامب عام 2019 باعتبارها تمثل خطرًا أمنيًا، وهو اتهام تنفيه الشركة.
