الجيريان اكسبرس: قال مكتب الإحصاءات الوطني الإسباني يوم الاثنين إن إسبانيا لم تستقبل أي سائحين في أبريل نيسان بسبب إجراءات احتواء فيروس كورونا، مما قلص دخل القطاع الهام بمقدار النصف تقريبا في الأشهر الأربعة الأولى من العام.

وقال مكتب الإحصاءات إن السائحين لم ينفقوا سوى 11.7 مليار يورو (13.02 مليار دولار) من يناير كانون الثاني إلى أبريل نيسان، وهو ما يقل بنسبة 48 بالمئة عن نفس الفترة قبل عام.
واستقبلت إسبانيا، التي دخلت في عزل عام منتصف مارس آذار لاحتواء الجائحة، 10.58 مليون سائح فقط في الأشهر الأربعة، أي نصف عدد زوارها في الفترة ذاتها من العام الماضي.

تشكل السياحة عادة أكثر من 12 بالمئة من الناتج المحلي الإجمالي في إسبانيا، ثاني بلدان العالم جذبا للزائرين بعد فرنسا.
