أفادت وسائل إعلام إسرائيلية بأن كبير حاخامات اليهود السفارديم، يتسحاق يوسف، يقوم بزيارة الإمارات حيث سيفتتح مدرسة دينية اليوم السبت في أول زيارة لحاخام كبير لبلد عربي.

وأكد مكتب الحاخام أنه توجه إلى الإمارات يوم الخميس في “إشارة إلى تعزيز العلاقات بين الإمارات وإسرائيل”.

ومن المقرر أن يلتقي خلال زيارته، التي ستستمر حتى يوم الأحد، مسؤولين إماراتيين كبارا وسيفتتح مدرسة يهودية وسينصب الحاخام ليفي دوخمان ككبير حاخامات الجالية اليهودية في الإمارات.

وسيزور يتسحاق يوسف مركز الجالية اليهودية وكنيس بيت تيفيلا في دبي، إضافة إلى مطعم الكوشير في برج خليفة.

وقال الحاخام دوخمان: “زيارة كبير الحاخامات تاريخية وإنه لشرف عظيم لنا أن نرحب به هنا في الإمارات”. وأضاف: “يسعدنا قدومه حيث نقوم حاليًا بافتتاح العديد من مؤسساتنا الجديدة التي يتم بناؤها بسرعة وكفاءة”.

ويأتي ذلك بعد توقيع الإمارات وإسرائيل على ما يسمى بـ “اتفاقات أبراهام” حول تطبيع العلاقات بينهما وإقامة التعاون في مختلف المجالات.
