قال رئيس المجلس الشعبي الوطني سليمان شنين، أن رد المجتمع الدولي جاء واضحا على قرار الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب بشأن قضية الصحراء الغربية، مؤكدا أن المغرب تتبع الأوهام، وباع القضية الفلسطينية مقابل وهم.

وأوضح شنين في كلمته الافتتاحية لليوم البرلماني المنظم تفعيلا لحق الشعب الصحراوي في تقرير المصير، أن ملف الصحراء الغربية هو الأكثر قانونية وشرعية وموضوعية لدى اللجنة الرابعة للأمم المتحدة الخاصة بتصفية الاستعمار.

وأكد شنين، عدم وجود أي رابط قانوني أو تاريخي أو انثروبولوجي بين سكان الصحراء الغربية والاحتلال المغربي، حسب تأكيدات مستشاري الأمم المتحدة والقرارات الإفريقية والأممية، أنها قضية تصفية استعمار تستوجب تنظيم استفتاء تقرير المصير .

وأشار إلى أن مماطلة الدبلوماسية المغربية بمجلس الأمن وبتواطؤ بعض الدول لم تثن مجلس الأمن من إدانة الخروج عن الشرعية الدولية.

وانتقد شنين التطبيع المغربي مع الكيان الصهيوني، قائلا أن النظام المغربي يتبع وهم الرئيس الأمريكي وباع القضية الفلسطينية مقابل ذلك.
