نشرت الجريدة الرسمية الفرنسية قانون يجيز الموافقة على اتفاقية تسليم المجرمين بين حكومة الجمهورية الفرنسية وحكومة الجمهورية الجزائرية الديمقراطية الشعبية، وهذا وفقا ما نشرته مجلة “لوماغازين دي بوفيسيون جوريديك” Le Magazine des Professions Juridiques المتخصصة في الشؤون القانونية.
حيث وقع وزيرا العدل الجزائري والفرنسي في الجزائر العاصمة اتفاقية تسليم المجرمين بين حكومتي البلدين.
تهدف هذه الاتفاقية إلى إقامة تعاون معزز وأكثر فاعلية بين فرنسا والجزائر في مكافحة الجريمة ، مما يؤدي إلى تسليم فعال وأسرع للمطلوبين من أجل محاكمتهم أو قضاء عقوبتهم في السجن ، من خلال استبدال أحكام الاتفاقية، المتعلقة بالتنفيذ.

وستمكن هذه الاتفاقية من تسليم واستلام عديد المطلوبين بين البلدين والذين صدرتهم في حقهم مذكرات توقيف دولية.
