أعلنت حكومة جنوب إفريقيا، اليوم السبت، عن “دعمها وتضامنها الثابت مع الشعب الفلسطيني وقضيته العادلة”، خلال بيان أصدرته بمناسبة اليوم العالمي للتضامن مع الشعب الفلسطيني.

وأكدت الحكومة أنها تدعم فلسطين “خاصة في هذه المرحلة”، مشددة على “دعم الجهود الرامية لإقامة الدولة الفلسطينية المستقلة، والمتواصلة جغرافيا، والقابلة للحياة، وفقا للقرارات والمرجعيات الدولية”.

كما أعربت حكومة جنوب إفريقيا عن تأييدها لعقد مؤتمر دولي للسلام، ذي آلية دولية متعددة الأطراف للمساعدة في المفاوضات، “وإيجاد حل لجميع قضايا الوضع النهائي، وتقديم ضمانات تكفل تنفيذها في إطار زمني محدد، لتحقيق سلام عادل ودائم على أساس المعايير المعتمدة دوليا”.

يأتي هذه التصريح للحكومة غداه نشر تقارير عن رحالة زعم أنه قادم من جنوب افريقيا مشيا على الاقدام وقد استقبله رئيس الوزراء الفلسطيني محمد اشتيه، لكن منشورا على فيسبوك، ذكر ان الرجل ليس سوى “محتال” ومطلوب للعدالة في قضايا نصب وسرقة اموال متعلقة برحلات الحج والعمرة وانه خدع رئيس وزراء فلسطين، على حد قوله.
