قال السفير الروسي لدى تونس، سيرغي نيكولاييف، إن روسيا وتونس تجريان مباحثات لتوريد اللقاح الروسي “سبوتنيك V” المضاد لفيروس كورونا في أقرب وقت ممكن.

ونقلت وكالة “نوفوستي” عن السفير الروسي أن تونس تسعى لإعادة الحياة في البلاد إلى طبيعتها، وتعتبر أن تطعيم السكان ضد فيروس كورونا، هو أهم عامل لعودة الحياة الاجتماعية والاقتصادية إلى مسارها المعتاد.

وأوضح السفير أن إمكانية استخدام اللقاح الروسي لمكافحة وباء كورونا، كانت محل دراسة منذ بداية ظهوره، من قبل الأطباء والمختصين في تونس.

وأشار نيكولاييف إلى أنه “نتيجة للعمل المشترك قررت وزارة الصحة التونسية، يوم 30 يناير، السماح باستخدام اللقاح الروسي، مضيفا أن المفاوضات جارية بشأن توريد اللقاح في أسرع وقت ممكن.

وتعتبر تونس ثالث دولة في إفريقيا، بعد الجزائر وغينيا، تسجل رسميا لقاح “سبوتنيك V”.
