أعلنت وزارة الخارجية 29874 جزائري عالق في الخارج إثر تفشي وباء كورونا منذ انطلاق العملية شهر مارس المنصرم إلى غاية 18 أوت الجاري.

وجاء في البيان أن الجزائر تواصل جهودها لإجلاء رعاياها العالقين في الخارج إثر جائحة كورونا، حيث بلغ عدد المواطنين الذين تمت إعادتهم إلى أرض الوطن منذ انطلاق عملية الإجلاء يوم 19 مارس 2020 و إلى غاية 18 أوت 2020 ما مجموعه 29874 شخصا عبر ثلاث مراحل.

وأشارت وزارة الشؤون الخارجية إلى أن المرحلة الثالثة من هذه العملية التي ”امتدت من 4 إلى 18 أوت 2020، قد انتهت بإجراء ثلاث رحلات جوية إضافية يومي 16 و 18 أوت انطلاقا من مطار دبي بالإمارات العربية المتحدة و مطار إسطنبول بتركياب وكذا مطار بوخاريست برومانيا، تم من خلالها إجلاء 590 مواطنا.

وبذلك، “يبلغ إجمالي المواطنين الذين تم إجلاؤهم في إطار المرحلة الثالثة 6328 شخصا، عبر 26 رحلة جوية وكذا عبر الحدود البرية بالنسبة للرعايا الجزائريين العالقين في تونس.

وأكدت الوزارة، في ذات السياق، بأن المرحلة الرابعة والأخيرة من عملية الإجلاء ستنطلق قريبا لإعادة المواطنين الجزائريين الذين لا يزالون عالقين بالخارج.
