سيشارك وزير الطاقة والمناجم، محمد عرقاب، يوم الخميس المقبل 04 مارس 2021، في أعمال الاجتماع الوزاري الرابع عشر لدول الأوبك والدول خارج الأوبك والذي سيعقد عبر تقنية التحاضر عن بعد.

ويضم هذا الاجتماع 23 دولة (13 دولة في أوبك و10 غير أعضاء في المنظمة) الموقعة على إعلان التعاون، وسيخصص لدراسة أوضاع سوق النفط العالمية وآفاق تطورها على المدى القصير.

ويسبق هذا الاجتماع،اليوم الثلاثاء 03 مارس2021، الاجتماع السابع والعشرون للجنة المراقبة الوزارية المشتركة (جي ام ام سي) والتي سيتعين عليها تقييم على أساس تقرير اللجنة الفنية المشتركة ظروف سوق النفط الحالي وعلى المدى القصير، وكذا مستوى الامتثال لالتزامات خفض الإنتاج للدول الموقعة على إعلان التعاون لشهر جانفي 2021.

وتتكون اللجنة الوزارية المشتركة بين الدول الأعضاء في منظمة أوبك من: الجزائر، المملكة العربية السعودية ،الإمارات العربية المتحدة ،العراق ،الكويت ،نيجيريا ،فنزويلا ودولتان غير أعضاء في منظمة أوبك وهي روسيا وكازاخستان، وستشارك انغولا أيضا في أعمال (جي ام ام سي) كرئيس لمؤتمر أوبك.
