تجاوزت البرازيل، مساء اليوم الأربعاء، مستوى 5 ملايين إصابة بفيروس كورونا المستجد، بينما تقترب حصيلة الوفيات من 150 ألف حالة.

وأفادت وزارة الصحة البرازيلية، في إحصائية يومية، بارتفاع حصيلة الإصابات المسجلة بفيروس كورونا في البلاد خلال الساعات الـ24 الماضية بواقع 31553، ليصل العدد الإجمالي إلى 5000694 حالة.

وتأتي هذه الحصيلة بعد أن سجلت البرازيل يوم 4 أكتوبر 8456 حالة، وفي 5 أكتوبر 11946، وفي 6 أكتوبر 41906.

كما ذكرت وزارة الصحة البرازيلية أنها رصدت 734 وفاة جديدة جراء فيروس كورونا خلال اليوم الماضي، لتصل حصيلة ضحايا الجائحة في البلاد إلى مستوى 148228 حالة.

وسبق أن بلغ هذا العدد يوم 4 أكتوبر 365 وفاة، وفي 5 أكتوبر323 حالة، وفي 6 أكتوبر 819.

وسجلت البرازيل ثاني أكبر حصيلة للوفيات جراء الفيروس في العالم بعد الولايات المتحدة، وثالث أعلى عدد للإصابات بعد الولايات المتحدة والهند.
